Janae Goff

Welcome!  I'm Janae, the name behind the domain.  I'm a Jesus-lover, wife, mama, and taco enthusiast.  I hate the color pink, I love pickles in my beer, I am an enneagram 8w7, and I do not have an inside voice.

I grew up in Hawarden, IA, but currently live in Dayton, OH with my husband Nick, son Clayton, daughter Ellis, and dog Maddie B.  My crew lives life one day at a time going wherever God and basketball take us!

My first creative love was writing.  Whenever I need a good therapy session I put pen to paper.  I only recently started sharing more writing; I hope to publish my words more formally someday!

My newest love is taking photos.  After our wedding photography fell short of our expectations, it became painfully obvious to me that it's essential for photographers to care about the final images as much as (rather, more than) the clients.  I have found it incredibly fulfilling to capture people and create memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

I prefer capturing the real moments and embracing the chaos that is life.  I want to document your birth story, your newborn, your family, and your special days so that when you look at the photos they bring back all the emotions in the best way.
